ROLE PURPOSE
Lead strategic sourcing, procurement, contract management and supplier performance for outsourced services. Build trusted client relationships, lead commercial negotiations and identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities with Sales and Operations. Deliver value for money, profitable service growth and reliable delivery while managing contractual risk and complying with delegated authority.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
Procurement & Tender Management
Lead end-to-end procurement and sourcing strategies for outsourced services.
Oversee RFQs, RFPs and tender documentation with clear scope and evaluation criteria.
Lead supplier clarifications, due diligence and transparent tender evaluations.
Evaluate total cost, service quality, delivery capability and commercial risk.
Lead supplier negotiations on pricing, payment terms, service levels and risk allocation.
Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies and delegated authority.
Use market intelligence and supplier benchmarking to improve sourcing decisions.
Contract Management
Lead service contract and Statement of Work development with Legal and Operations.
Maintain contract registers, renewal schedules and supplier documentation.
Monitor contract milestones, deliverables and expiry dates.
Negotiate amendments, extensions and renewals within approved authority.
Ensure contracts define scope, SLAs, KPIs, pricing, change control and exit terms.
Maintain complete and accurate procurement and contract records.
Monitor contract obligations and ensure supplier compliance with contractual commitments.
Supplier & Commercial Management
Own strategic supplier relationships and maintain suitable alternative providers.
Monitor supplier performance against agreed KPIs and SLAs.
Lead supplier performance reviews and agree measurable improvement actions.
Resolve escalated supplier issues, disputes and service failures with relevant teams.
Negotiate sustainable savings and cost improvements without reducing agreed quality.
Oversee invoice validation against contracted rates and accepted deliverables.
Develop supplier improvement plans where performance falls below agreed KPIs.
Performance & Governance
Develop and monitor supplier scorecards.
Report validated savings, contract performance and commercial growth contributions.
Prepare management dashboards covering spend, risk, renewals and opportunities.
Enforce procurement governance, ethical sourcing and conflict-of-interest controls.
Lead procurement audit responses and close agreed corrective actions.
Manage commercial risks and escalate commitments outside delegated authority.
Client Relationships, Commercial Growth & Team Leadership
Lead client meetings to understand needs, resolve issues and build long-term trust.
Present service proposals and value cases clearly to senior client decision-makers.
Identify and qualify upselling and cross-selling opportunities with Sales and Operations.
Negotiate client pricing, renewals and scope changes within approved commercial limits.
Confirm delivery capacity and margins before commitments; document agreed handovers.
Maintain an opportunity pipeline and support conversion, renewals and client retention.
Coordinate Finance approvals, budgets and purchase orders, and Legal contract reviews.
Set team priorities, delegate work and coach procurement staff against agreed objectives.
Other Duties
Undertake other reasonable duties relevant to the role as assigned by the Line Manager.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Procurement, Supply Chain, Business or a related discipline, or an equivalent recognized qualification.
CIPS qualification/MCIPS or an equivalent recognized procurement credential preferred.
Experience
7–10 years of relevant procurement, sourcing or contract management experience, including at least 3 years leading teams or complex commercial portfolios.
Demonstrated client-facing experience in outsourced or professional services, with evidence of successful negotiations, renewals and upselling/cross-selling.
International client and supplier experience preferred; UAE/GCC market experience advantageous.
Knowledge & Skills
Confident client engagement, executive presentations and relationship management.
Strong business English, written and spoken, for proposals and commercial negotiations.
Consultative selling: identify client needs, articulate value and develop viable service opportunities.
Commercial judgement in pricing, margins, total cost and contract risk allocation.
Strategic sourcing, tender evaluation, contract management and supplier SLA/KPI management.
Strong analytical, leadership and stakeholder management skills; sound ethical judgement.
Proficiency with procurement ERP systems such as Dynamics 365, SAP or Oracle, and reporting tools.
